About the Faculty of Economics and Management
Historical Note. T he Faculty of Economics and Management was established on September 1, 2008.
The history of the faculty begins in 2007. Professional training on educational program “commerce” was organized on the base of the faculty of humanities. Today the Faculty of Economics and Management is one of the youngest and arguably most significant, in terms of its contribution to national human resource development in fields related to business and public policy. The objectives of the Faculty are to promote excellence in teaching and research, to inculcate a critical disposition and ability for creative problem-solving, to educate and train high level human resources in support of sustainable development and community service and to produce responsible citizens with a healthy respect for human dignity.
Teaching Staff. The teaching staff is represented by highly qualified specialists: 1 professor, 1 doctor of sciences, 7 associate professors, 10 candidates of sciences 7 senior teachers and assistant lecturers.
Students Life. Many students manage to combine academic study with scientific research activity and students’ social life. The faculty of
Economics and Management engages students in active learning and encourages scholarship. It prepares students for leadership roles within the University and future work/community settings. The faculty enhances the educational environment by promoting, educating, and facilitating understanding of students' rights responsibilities, and freedoms and conducts research studies to further knowledge of current and future students for disseminations through outreach relationships. The faculty of Economics and Management creates opportunities for students to clarify and challenge their values, potentials, roles, and relationships within the University, the greater communities, and the global society.
